Big Shanty Family Night

On Thursday night, May 7th, from 6:00-6:45 pm Big Shanty Elementary will host a Parent Night for our second graders and their parents.  Our students will have the chance to tour the school in small groups that evening.

Vocabulary for the Week of April 20th

Since we are having the CRCT this week we are not sending home any additional homework for the students. We will begin the vocabulary again the week after the CRCT.  Enjoy the weekend!

April 2009 Newsletter

I have posted the newsletter for this month.  I also wanted to remind everyone that we will no longer have spelling homework or spelling tests each week, but we will continue with vocabulary assessments.  I will be sending home more CRCT practice test on Friday.  Hope everyone has a great Spring Break!!

CRCT Practice

Reminder that the CRCT is coming. We will be sending home a practice test every Friday until the CRCT for the students to complete by the following Friday. This is to be completed by the students first, however, if they need help by all means help them with the completion of the test. If you have any questions or concerns about the CRCT please let me know.
