Class Description

Welcome to Ms. Santimauro's MOID special education class.  This class services the low incidence population for the North Cobb and Kennesaw Mountain clusters.   In preparation to teach this population, I received an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a graduate degree Special Education with a concentration in Intellectual Disabilities.   Previously, I have taught in New York City Public Schools, Onslow County Public Schools in North Carolina and for the last 8 years in Cobb County Public Schools.  This level of Special Education focuses on a functional curriculum while exposing the students to the general education curriculum.  My goal is that each and every student coming through this level of special education will become functional and contributory members of society.
